This policy explains the information involved when you use Insta. It covers this website and its link-processing interface, not the separate policies of Insta, FB, your browser, or the hosting and download providers.
Video links and download requests
When you submit a video URL, the website sends the URL and your selected quality to its server. The server forwards the request to an external download provider to retrieve video information or a media file. Do not submit private messages, account passwords, access tokens, or links containing information you do not want that provider to receive.
Technical information and service providers
The hosting service and external download provider may process connection information, request times, network addresses, security events, and error logs to deliver and protect their services. Their retention practices are controlled by those providers. Insta cannot promise immediate deletion of information held in provider logs.
Clipboard and device storage
The Paste button requests access to clipboard text only when you press it and your browser permits access. You may paste manually instead. Downloaded files are saved by your browser to a location on your device. You control those local copies and can delete them through your browser or file manager.
Cookies, sign-in, and analytics
The current application code does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. This private preview uses the hosting platform’s sign-in and access controls, which may use their own cookies or session information. This policy will need updating before adding advertising, analytics, accounts, or other data collection.
Video previews and external sites
The video preview uses a file returned through this website’s server. The interface does not load provider thumbnail URLs directly. Following external links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
Your requests and policy updates
Use the Contact page for the current availability of privacy support. You can stop using the service and remove downloaded files from your device at any time. Material changes to this website’s data handling should be reflected here before those changes go live.
